Kate Phillips is an associate attorney at Treehouse Law and a graduate from UCLA School of Law. Kate has long been committed to advocating for consumers and has always demonstrated a desire to give back to her community. Before joining Treehouse Law, Kate worked for several organizations dedicated to protecting civil rights, volunteered with UCLA Law’s immigration rights clinic, and served as an editor for UCLA’s criminal justice law review. 

Prior to joining the legal field, Kate worked as a marketing consultant and designer, giving her a unique perspective on false advertising cases. Her past work experience and minor in marketing from Washington University in St. Louis made consumer protection law a natural fit, as she can tackle deceptive marketing through both a legal and creative lens.

Kate is passionate about protecting consumers from misleading marketing practices and holding companies accountable when they take advantage of consumers. Since joining Treehouse law, she has played a significant role in numerous cases, including those involving dietary supplements, textiles, food, beverages, cosmetics, and other household products.
